I think I'm going back to the things I learned so well in my youth
AAsus4AE
I think I'm returning to those days when I was young enough to know the truth
Esus4EC#m/EG#m
Now there are no games, to only pass the time
C#m/EE
No more electric trains, no more trees to climb
ABEEsus4E (Fig #1)
But thinking young and growing older is no sin
ABEEsus4E (Fig #1)
So, catch me if you can, I'm going back
AEEsus4E I can recall a
time when I wasn't ashamed to reach out to a friend
AEEsus4E
Now I think I've got a lot more than just my toys to lend
C#m/EG#m
Now there's more to do than watch my sailboat glide
C#m/EE
But every day can be a magic carpet ride
ABEEsus4E (Fig #1)
A little bit of courage is all we lack
ABEEsus4E (Fig #1)
So, catch me if you can, I'm going back
ABEEsus4E
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
ABEEsus4E
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
C#m/EG#m
Now there's more to do than watch my sailboat glide
C#m/EE
But every day can be a magic carpet ride
ABEEsus4E
A little bit of courage is all we lack
ABEEsus4E
so catch me if you can, I'm going back, ohh
ABEEsus4E
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
ABEEsus4E
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
C#m/EG#m
Ahhhhhhhh ah ah ah ahhhhhhhh
C#m/EE
Ahhhhhhhh

If you choose, a regular C#m can be used without a big difference but I personally think
that open E makes it sound closer.
