But then Je-hovah sent the light,

His Kingdom truth so clear and bright. 

Verso 2:

Our privi-lege we then did see

To serve the grand Theocra-cy, 
             Ab7             C 
To make well known Jehovah's fame, 
     Gdim  Dm    G7        C 
Thus glori-fying his great name. 

Verso 3:

We witness now to all we meet,

From door to door and on the street. 
           Ab7             C 
With Bible studies patient-ly 
     Gdim  Dm    G7        C 
We teach the truth that sets men free. 

Verso 4:

And as we strive in every land 
     Gdim    Dm           Fm 
True worship widely to ex-pand, 
              Ab7           C 
May we server faithfully as one, 
   Gdim    Dm       G7      C 
Un-til God says the work is done.
